Coastal Campers are pleased to announce that Wi-Fi internet access is now available for hire in all of their Campervans and Motorhomes.
Easy to use, simply bring your own internet device and keep in touch with family and friends while you're on holiday. It's great for planning ahead, you can pre-book tours and excursions, upload your travel photos onto Facebook, Email & Skype whenever you want and in your own time.

Secluded Beaches to Visit

When you're touring around the Coromandel in a Motorhome or Campervan, make sure you stop and take the walk to New Chums Beach. Its an easy stroll through the beautiful Nikau Palms and Pohutakawa trees (New Zealand native trees) to this stunning and secluded beach. New to our fleet are our Premier 4 berth Motorhomes, perfect for those who prefer a few little extras while they travel. These beautifully appointed Motorhomes feature the latest cabinetry design with modern fabrics in the living areas. An inbuilt LCD TV/DVD player cleverly hides away inside a slide out cupboard and the onboard Water Filter provides fresh drinking water. The exterior Awning provides shade in the summer and with these motorhomes aged less than 2 years and built on the reliable Mitsubishi Canter chassis, you’ll have a trouble free holiday.

Coastal Campers have moved into a central Whitianga location at 22 Lee Street. Simply follow the signs to the town centre and you’ll come right past our door. Call in to view our range of campervans and motorhomes, all fully equipped and ready for you to take on holiday. Our 3 day hires out of Whitianga are still available until the end of November.

Latest Winter Camping Trip

Our latest family winter camping trip has taken us just down the road, to one of our all time favourite spots on the Coromandel Peninsula....Hahei.
Here we always choose a hilltop camp site at the campground which looks out over the ocean and islands. This time we tried out the bike racks we have available for hire and took our bikes for a leisurely ride around the quiet streets and lanes. The days were sunny and crisp and the LPG heater inside the motorhome kept us all warm at night. If you have a favourite spot that you always head to when you go camping, we'd love to hear about it.
